Changes in the following Praxis II subject assessment content tests are effective September 1, 2008:

- Education of Exceptional Students: Core Content Knowledge #0353 will replace Special Education: Knowledge-Based Core Principles test #0351. The qualifying score for #0353 is 160.

- Family and Consumer Sciences test #0121 will replace #0120. The qualifying score is for #0121 is 148.

- Marketing Education test #0561 will replace test #0560. The qualifying score for #0561 is 124.

- School Psychologist test #0401 will replace test #0400. The qualifying score for #0401 is 161.

- Any teacher candidate having successfully complete tests #0351, #0120, or #0560 prior to September 1, 2008 will be considered to have met the subject assessment test requirements for license sought.

Fall/winter childcare position

I am looking for a responsible, fun, energetic, patient person with lots of experience working with children (ages 3 months to 4 years) for part time position in an in home daycare center. Tutors needed at davey elementary in kent

Kent State's America Reads program is part of the national federal work study program designed to employ university students as reading tutors for America's youth. The program places tutors at a local elementary school (Davey Elementary in Kent) where they help students improve their reading skills and self-esteem.

Tutor Responsibilities Include:
Help provide quality reading instruction for children,
Help children with homework across a variety of areas,
Model appropriate behavior in all situations,
Promote appreciation and understanding of differences among students,
Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of the program,
Adhere to work schedule and meet as necessary with students, parents, and teachers,
Maintain regular contact with site supervisor,
Perform other duties as assigned by site supervisor.

To be eligible, a student must have a federal work study and transportation to the school. This position pays $9.00 per hour.

Part time nanny/sitter needed

We are looking for a PT nanny/sitter to care for our 10 month old twin Boys 2-3 days a week with flexible days and hours (between 8am – 5pm Mon - Fri). We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible as our current caregiver’s schedule has changed. We want someone to come to our home to primarily take care of the boys, but to possibly also do light child related housework while they are sleeping (putting bottles together, mixing formula, etc.). We would like someone who is interested in doing activities with the boys between feedings and naps.

We live in Aurora/Twinsburg area.
